Refunds Policy
ERIN’S TIDY CLEANING CO. REFUND POLICY & TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Applies to: Furniture Restoration, Pool Cleaning, Spa Cleaning, Pond and Fountain Cleaning, and House Cleaning Services.
At Erin’s Tidy Cleaning Co., we strive for 100% customer satisfaction. We use top-tier products and equipment to deliver exceptional results. If you’re not happy, we’ll work to make it right. However, due to the custom nature of our services, refunds are limited and subject to the conditions below.
1. Payment Terms
- A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to schedule and begin services. This covers materials, supplies, initial labor, travel expenses, and scheduling.
- The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the service.
- All payments are processed securely (e.g., via Square or other methods). Receipts will clearly state these terms.
2. Refund Eligibility
- Refunds may be requested only if you are unsatisfied with the completed service after a thorough inspection on the day of completion (or the first service date for multi-day projects).
- For furniture restoration: Refunds are limited to the final payment if the work does not meet agreed-upon standards (e.g., color match or finish quality). Deposits cover custom materials and initial labor, which are non-refundable.
- For pool cleaning, spa cleaning, pond cleaning, and fountain cleaning: Refunds apply only to the final payment if water quality or cleanliness standards are not met post-service. Deposits cover chemicals, equipment setup, and travel.
- For house cleaning: Refunds apply only to the final payment if the cleaning does not meet the agreed scope (e.g., deep cleaning or move-in/out standards). Deposits cover supplies and initial setup.
- Refund requests must be submitted in writing (email or text) within 24 hours of service completion. We will review and respond within 2 business days.
3. Refund Process
- Approved refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
- If a refund is denied, we offer a complimentary follow-up service or credit toward future work to address concerns.
- No refunds for services canceled less than 48 hours before the scheduled start (full deposit forfeited).
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable in all cases:
- Deposits (50% upfront) for materials, custom supplies, labor, consultations, assessments, or travel.
- Work deemed satisfactory by industry standards or upon customer approval (verbal or written).
- Any custom-ordered items (e.g., paints for restoration, chemicals for pools/ponds, or specialized cleaning agents).
- Services interrupted by uncontrollable events (e.g., weather for outdoor cleaning, medical emergencies, or customer unavailability).
5. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide clear communication of expectations, access to the service area, and any relevant details (e.g., allergies, water chemistry for pools, or furniture condition) prior to service.
- Inspect the work upon completion and report issues immediately.
- Maintain proper care post-service (e.g., avoid harsh chemicals on restored furniture or overusing pools/spas after cleaning). Damage after service is not eligible for refund.
- For recurring services (e.g., ongoing pool/pond maintenance or house cleaning packages), cancellations require 30 days’ notice; no refunds for unused portions.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Cancellations more than 48 hours in advance: Full deposit refund minus a $50 administrative fee.
- Rescheduling: Free if requested 24+ hours in advance; otherwise, a $25 fee applies.
- We reserve the right to reschedule due to emergencies (e.g., weather or health issues) and will communicate promptly.
7. Dispute Resolution
- In case of disputes, we commit to good-faith negotiations. If unresolved, both parties agree to mediation before legal action.
- This policy is governed by the laws of [California]. We are certified and insured for your protection.
8. Changes to Policy
We may update this policy with notice via our website (https://www.erinstidycleaningco.com). Continued use of our services implies acceptance.
